A valid SSL certificate is no longer optional — it encrypts data between your visitors and your server, removes the “Not Secure” warning, and boosts Google ranking. The best part? You can get a trusted SSL completely free with Let’s Encrypt.

Let’s Encrypt certificates are valid for 90 days and auto-renewal is built-in on all WhoGoHost plans, so you never have to worry about expiry.

How to install Let’s Encrypt in under 2 minutes

  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. Scroll to the Security section and click Let’s Encrypt™ SSL.
  3. Under Issue a New Certificate, find your domain and click the blue Issue button on the right.
  4. On the next screen:
  • Tick these three entries:
    □ yourdomain.com
    www.yourdomain.com
    □ mail.yourdomain.com (for secure webmail)
  • Validation method: leave it as http-01 (default)
  • Click the blue Issue button at the bottom.
You’ll see a success message: “The SSL certificate is now installed onto the domain… Apache is restarting in the background.”

That’s it! Your site will automatically switch to https:// and show the padlock within seconds.

Your Let’s Encrypt SSL will auto-renew every 90 days with zero action required from you. Need a longer validity (1–3 years) or business validation? Check out our paid SSL certificates here.
